Cancelled – Butterfly Fund Denim and Diamonds Gala
In accordance with CDC guidelines and recommendations we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Denim and Diamonds Gala which supports the Butterfly Fund, a fund of East Tennessee Foundation. The Butterfly Fund is dedicated to raising support and awareness in the fight against childhood cancer.
We are so thankful for the incredible response to this year’s event and we are offering the following options for individuals who have paid in advance for tickets:
- Convert your ticket purchase into a charitable contribution
- Convert your ticket purchase to 2021 Denim and Diamonds Gala tickets (April 10, 2021)
- We’ll gladly issue a refund for your ticket purchase

We are saddened to make this decision but feel it is in the best interest of our community. We are always blessed with an incredible amount of support from the childhood cancer community, including survivors, parents, doctors, nurses, therapists, and staff. This brave group represents some of our most vulnerable and for that reason we must exercise the utmost caution.
We always look forward to highlighting our annual grant recipients and scholarship winners at our annual gala. Please know we’ll be making those awards as planned. We’ll be updating our social media pages and website as we make those announcements in the coming weeks.
Again, we are grateful for your continued support of The Butterfly Fund and the fight against Childhood Cancer and we look forward to seeing you at the event next year on April 10, 2021.
