The Butterfly Fund is a non-profit member of the East Tennessee Foundation and is a proud supporter of East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. Proceeds from previous events have been utilized in making $215,000 in grants to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in support of their pediatric intensive care unit and oncology department.
These funds have been utilized to renovate two existing rooms into palliative care rooms for families caring for children with terminal conditions, purchase supplies and equipment for the oncology department, purchase entertainment gaming systems for children while they are undergoing cancer treatments, fund the purchase and installation of a nurse call system for the oncology clinic, and many other meaningful items.
